Service Terms

Effective date: May 16, 2026

These Service Terms apply only to optional paid services offered by Mortgage Escape Blueprint. These terms do not convert free site content into professional advice and do not replace user responsibility for independent decision-making.

1. Applicability and Acceptance

These terms apply when a user purchases a paid service or receives a written proposal, invoice, statement of work, or similar agreement referencing Service Terms.

By paying an invoice, signing a scope document, or otherwise accepting service delivery, the client agrees to these terms together with any specific written scope terms.

2. Service Scope and Deliverables

All paid services require a defined scope that specifies deliverables, schedule assumptions, communication format, and completion criteria. Work outside that scope may require a revised estimate or change order.

3. Fees, Billing, and Payment

Fees, payment schedule, and accepted payment methods are described in the applicable invoice or service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, payments are due according to the stated due date.

Late or failed payment may result in paused service, withholding of deliverables, or cancellation of remaining scope, subject to applicable law and contract terms.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on the work performed and the cancellation point in the engagement. Completed work, reserved time, or delivered materials may be non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

If cancellation terms are included in a custom agreement, that agreement controls the cancellation process and financial treatment.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate inputs, relevant context, and timely decisions. Clients remain solely responsible for financial, legal, tax, lending, and investment decisions arising from use of any deliverable.

6. No Guaranteed Outcomes

Service outputs are estimates and planning frameworks, not guaranteed outcomes. Mortgage and refinancing outcomes depend on market rates, lender criteria, underwriting results, local law, taxes, and borrower execution.

No promise is made regarding specific savings amounts, approval outcomes, payoff dates, or financial performance.

7. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Unless otherwise agreed, Mortgage Escape Blueprint retains ownership of general methodologies, templates, and pre-existing materials. Clients receive a non-exclusive license to use delivered work for internal personal or business planning purposes.

Redistribution, resale, or republication of deliverables may require prior written permission.

8. Confidentiality and Data Handling

Reasonable care is used to handle client information provided for service delivery. Clients should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive data and should redact documents when possible.

Data practices are further described in the Privacy Policy. Where a separate confidentiality agreement exists, that agreement controls confidentiality obligations.

9. Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited and excludes indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. In all events, any direct liability is limited to amounts paid for the specific service at issue unless law requires otherwise.

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless the service provider for third-party claims arising from client misuse of deliverables, inaccurate client data, or unauthorized distribution.

10. Termination and Suspension

Either party may terminate services for material breach, non-payment, or other contractually stated causes. On termination, the client remains responsible for fees for completed work and committed time under the governing agreement.

11. Governing Terms and Updates

These Service Terms supplement the Terms of Use, Disclaimer, and Legal Center. In case of conflict, signed or accepted written service scope documents control for scope-specific items.

Service Terms may be updated periodically. Updated versions are effective when posted unless otherwise stated in a written service agreement.
